Gudibande Sunrise Trek
Escape the daily city routine and embark on an unforgettable early morning adventure with Bharat Trotters on the Gudibande Sunrise Trek. Nestled in the Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka, approximately 90 km from Bangalore, Gudibande Fort is a hidden historical jewel constructed in the 17th century by the local chieftain Byre Gowda. Modeled after the iconic Madhugiri Fort, this multi-layered fortress boasts intricate stone pathways, interconnected rain-water harvesting tanks, and ancient escape passages. Ascending to an elevation of roughly 826 meters above sea level, this easy-to-moderate 5 km (to and fro) trail features well-laid stone steps, rocky outcrops, and serene grasslands. As night gives way to dawn, the summit rewards trekkers with sweeping panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, mist-covered lakes, and golden sunrise hues breaking over the horizon. Whether you are a beginner looking for your first weekend trek, a photography enthusiast, or a history buff, the Gudibande Sunrise Trek with Bharat Trotters offers the perfect blend of natural beauty, outdoor fitness, and heritage exploration.
