- Permit Limit: Forest permissions for Kudremukh are capped at a strict maximum number of trekkers per day by the Forest Department. Early booking is strongly recommended.
- Single-Use Plastics: Single-use plastic bottles, polythene carry bags, and plastic wrappers are banned inside the reserve forest area.
- Mobile Network: Mobile connectivity (BSNL / Airtel / Jio) is extremely weak or non-existent once you enter the basecamp and trek trail.
- Leech Season: During the monsoon season (June to September), leeches are prevalent on the trail. Carry salt, leech socks, or deterrent sprays.

↬ Age & Health Eligibility: Minimum age limit for this trek is 12 years. Participants must possess basic physical fitness to endure an 18 km trek over steep terrains.
