Mukurthi Peak Trek With Ooty Sightseeing

Step into the untamed heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve with Bharat Trotters on our premium 2-Day Mukurthi Peak Trek. Perched at an altitude of 8,379 feet (2,554 meters), Mukurthi Peak stands as one of the most untouched and ecologically protected high-altitude destinations in South India. Located roughly 390 km from Bengaluru near Ooty, this landscape features rolling montane grasslands, misty ridge trails, and ancient Shola forest patches.  The peak holds deep cultural significance, revered by the local Toda tribes who consider it a sacred realm. Trekking through this 18 km round-trip wilderness gives you a rare opportunity to spot exotic wildlife, including Sambar deer, Nilgiri Langurs, endemic bird species, and the majestic Tahr. Join Bharat Trotters for an expertly guided, hassle-free weekend getaway designed for nature enthusiasts, photography buffs, and thrill-seekers looking to escape the city concrete.
